I am going to say that is not normal operating parameters. Looks like a trip to the dealer.

No disc. 2011's are satellite based. I parked it. Restarted engine and it hasn't done it sense this morning. It was cold (30 degrees) so I wander if that had something to do with it???

2011's are hard disk based (the map data it uses for it's day to day operation is stored on an internal hard disk instead of on a DVD).
If it's rebooting/restarting while you're driving then it's broken and requires a trip to the dealer to fix.

I have had that happen once, if I recall. Its not uncommon, but if it happens regularly you should try to get updated to the latest code.
