I haven't done it yet, but plan on doing so. If I remember right, it's only ~$2500 for an extra 50k miles. I think that's a pretty reasonable price to pay.

Nevermind, answered my own question... the DEF fluid is less than $20 at the parts counter and has a screw-on valve that is virtually leak-proof. Shouldn't be a big deal to DIY.

My understanding is that a full flush of that system is required at every service, not just topping it off.

It needs to be refilled, not flushed.

Tremendous deal, especially since they wash and detail the car at the 3 service vists you'll have, and have TV in the waiting room.... |
