I am saying with the 2nd row pushed forward, is the 3rd row still very tight, like big AL said the adult has to sit almost sideways?

I have the 3rd row option, its for kids period. You aren't fitting an adult there for any extended period of time. I bought it for my kids though, so I knew what I was getting into.

Yes, the middle row will slide forward, and then there is somewhat more room. I'll see about posting some pictures.

I have 3rd seat for about 2.5 year now. It's convenient when you needed to carry extra people around within short distance. The 2nd row moves up to make more room for the 3rd row. It's good for short distance but not for long distance especially they are more than 5'6"

Actually, it would be easier to retrofit a sunroof/moonroof. I'm not sure about an OEM Pano Roof, but there are pleny of aftermarket moonroofs that you can install.
