Weight of 19 inch wheels

I have changed yesterday my 2009 sport package 19 inch RFT wheels ( for winter) and, cannot believe how heavy they were... I dont have a scale but, would somebody know how heavy the wheels and tires are ( separated if possible). The information relate also to the 20 inch would be appreciate,,,

I don't have the weights, but I had a set of staggered 19" Style 258 with tyres arrive on Thursday to replace the 20" on the car for winter use. I'm also impressed by how big and heavy these things are. My 20" Style 214 wheels are at least an inch wider and use larger tyres than the 19" which probably means there's little difference in overall weight.

It doesn't seem all that long ago that one of the key features of "light alloy" wheels was a reduction in un-sprung weight.

Stock 19" wheel with tire (Mich) was 76.5 lb (approx)

Stock 214 20" are measurably heavier than stock 19" especially considering the effect of upspruing weight. I forget the link to the site that had weights for all these wheels buy 214 was second worst from available 20".

I assume 20" with runflat would be even heavier.

Hey even the 18" OEM 210's with RFT's are painstakingly heavy (about 65ish lbs). I've been considering shipping them to a fellow forum member so trying to pack one of them and take it in the shipper for an estimate (just one rim) has been back breaking.

blue dragon will become famous soon enough
They are very heavy indeed. One of the reasons I swapped out to a forged 20" wheel, was to reduce the unsprung weight.
