New 2011 X5d on the way.. wait begins (again)

So exciting...Congrats! My new 35d has basically everything, except Adaptive Drive. My '08 4.8i had Adaptive Drive. I wonder on the Build your own site for BMWUSA, why it says something about Adaptive Drive being a special option, that takes consideration & should be discussed with a BMW dealer before ordering??
I've only driven my new X a few times, around the city...so I don't think I've noticed not having it. I wonder, I hope, I do not miss is or feel I need it. My dealer said they almost never get any Xs with Adaptive Drive!!
