For reasons I cant officially discuss (I guess one can figure out from my previous posts), I will soon be saying goodbye to my 2010 4.8 and stepping into brand spanking new X5d. :thumbup:

It'll be identical in every aspect to my Bro's (alexmish) X5 except I am not getting ventilated seats. Just dont see the need or dont sweat as much? :dunno: :nanana:

So exciting...Congrats! My new 35d has basically everything, except Adaptive Drive. My '08 4.8i had Adaptive Drive. I wonder on the Build your own site for BMWUSA, why it says something about Adaptive Drive being a special option, that takes consideration & should be discussed with a BMW dealer before ordering??

I've only driven my new X a few times, around the city...so I don't think I've noticed not having it. I wonder, I hope, I do not miss is or feel I need it. My dealer said they almost never get any Xs with Adaptive Drive!!

That certainly is a strange statement...




Most buyers cannot spend $3500 on an option they cannot see or play with..unlike running boards, HUD or Comfort access.... and other bright shiny objetcs:cool:

NO DEALER would EVERY order AD for one of their 'dealer stock' orders, period, end of story. The only cars that have AD are ordered by drivers....
