This has been discussed and vetted ad nauseum- only the OWNER can take the credit- if you lease YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER, YOU ARE A RENTER.

BMW sales reps will lie or be wrong due to ignorance, knowing that the sales documents and disclosures ultimately absolve them of any errors or misstatements.

Does this not apply only for Small business or self employed?

Agree on the typical american viewpoint and mpg taking a low priority, but then again most people thought 4t's were Non-Performance dirtbikes as well...and look at where we're at now...they're closing the gap with the new diesel engines...bet if the d had gotten the new for 11 8spd trans it would be real close to the 35i in 0-60...at least narrow it down from .5 sec difference (6.9s vs. 6.5s) to ???

Good point about the 4 strokes dominating the long lived 2 stroke. I'm sure diesel motors would be worlds better if they didn't have to meet the stricked American EPA standards. I feel that diesels are so close but so far away from taking a large part of the market.

I just picked up mine about 3 weeks ago. I got 10% off the MSRP on a 2011 35d. I'm here in Canada.
