Have you heard of anyone hacking this system yet? I know it is a safety feature but sometimes a little distraction is good...

only in the rear, in the front you need to rewire the system, any BMW tech can help you do it offline

Works in my 2009 X5... However in the glove box DVD changer, not the nav CD nor music CD. Mine works while in park w/o brake ingaged. I would like to get it to work while driving.... Any thoughts?

Why would one feel the need to drive down the highway, watching a DVD?
I figured talking, texting, checking email, & surfing the web, etc., on smart phones, was enough fun while 'driving'?

Been there, done that. It gets old and it's useless. In the rear seats I like it for my daughter. I have no desire to look like every other Tahoe and Expedition with more TV's than passengers. Ghetto.
