Keep in mind if yours is out of warranty the update they do you will have to pay for.

I've heard that they won't just "do" the update. Don't you have to have an issue that requires it? Or was your tranny really bad?

The tech said there was no error code he could read off the tranny but said the road test confirmed it was harsh on the downshift. Now it's smooth. Just bring it in--it will be noticeable to them it's not like you are making it up, etc.
