Water in Tail Lights?

I searched a few times and didn't come up with any results... I
f you can point me to the threads that would be great!

I have about 1/8-1/4" of water in the bottom of both of the tails on the hatch.
Just noticed it for the first time.
Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,
John

Learned about the problem prior to getting my CPO. Found the water in there and had the dealership replace the hatch lights. No problems since then.

I had water that landed on and caused corrosion on the liftgate motor contacts. They stopped lifting. The mooroof drains were not fitted correctly during a cassette change out and water ran down the headliner into the well were the contacts and tailights were. I do think the dealer said that drained the lenses.

Maybe your issue.
