New to forum, question re door panels

Hello, with my first BMW, a 2011 X5D now in my garage for 4 weeks, I am really loving this machine. It was a close call between it and an MDX or a used Cayenne. Very glad I went this way.

One thing that isn't thrilling is the pedestrian, some would say outright bad, base stereo. I have identified decent replacement speakers and today, tried to get one of the door panels off. This was much harder than I thought and I ended up giving up about 30 minutes into the job. Not because I didn't think I could get the panel off eventually, but the obvious worry of damage to a new car's interior.

If anyone can post a DIY of door panel removals on an E70 that would be awesome. Searched forums and google but no luck. BSW has videos of several BMW models but not the E70.

Hope someone can oblige!
