I am not trying to fully black out my X5. I know a lot of people like that look. I'm pretty much done blacking out parts.

Not a big fan of the look either on black as the chrome ones are a nice contrast---and sounds like you will do the lower grille too as they mis-match right now. I think you are leasing yours so not a big deal for you but after a few years those painted grills etc will be a rock chip nightmare. To each their own.

Kloogy, great taste. Really liking the black kidneys on black. Definitely more aggressive than stock, clean and done right.

Nice rides...I'm in Woodland Hills too! Haven't seen an Alpine White X5 M around. My neighbor has a Moonstone Metallic X5 M. Great car. Did you get yours at Bob Smith? They had an Alpine White '11 X5 M on the showroom floor!

Yup Bob Smith BMW. Dunno if mine was ever in the showroom, but at the time, about a month ago, they only had two whites, one was a demo and the other one I picked up.
