Finally got my ride

After 1.5 months of waiting, I finally picked up my X5 last Friday.
I only have these two pics from my iPhone when I picked up my car.
BTW, anybody have any idea how I can replace the orange reflector with a painted one or clear, I have searched but seems like no one is selling any 2011 M-packaged reflector.

Thanks!

wow looks great.

Make sure you 3M all the parts to avoid chipping. Isnt the reflector the same as the normal?

Thanks Naz!

I wanted to get the reflector changed before doing the 3M. As my dealer told me it's going to cover the reflector for the whole front bumper. Also my dealer has no information on rear door panel chipping issues with the m-package equipped vehicles. I have no idea where I can purchase 3M for those spots or does it have to be custom made?

BEAUTIFUL! Is that Monaco or Deep Sea Blue? Congratulations and Enjoy! Did you get the 35i or 50i?

Drive it in good health, classic and awesome colour choices!!

Thanks all!, that's actually Carbon Black!, I was surprised at how much blue it shows under light! I got the 35i, Would have gotten the 50i but I was upside down on my trade in so can only afford the 35i.
Still, it's awesome, I love it!

How much paint do I need for the two reflectors?
Is 12 oz aerosol spray enough to cover both?
Those reflectors are huge!

Our '10 M6 is Carbon Black. It must be your camera phone & the flash...because Carbon Black usually does not throw that much blue (wish it did, besides white and silver, blue is one of my fav car colours).

The 35i is MORE than most people need. You'll save gas and insurance money each month!!!

Before I got my 35d, I was working a deal on the X5 M or an X6 Hybrid. I too was upside down quite a bit on my trade, so I got my next favourite choice...the 35d! I am SO happy I got the 35d....in hindsight, I SO do not need an X5 M or X6 Hybrid (so $$$).
