Where can I get info on '09 oil change/capacities?

I looked but I cant find any write ups on changing the oil in a 2009 X5 3.0
I found for the V8 and the older 3.0 but that doesnt help.
Can anyone tell me the procedure?

Also, what oil is recommended for this car and what is the oil capacity with filter change? Thanks for any help.
On another note, whats the shelf life of motor oil?

For the 3.0 it's 6.9 quarts or 6.5 liters with the filter.

Dealers sell synthetic OEM engine oil and they are 5w30.

Some resources for changing oil. If you're not sure, ask.

Thanks. I had a 2001 X5 3.0 and I could do the oil change in my sleep. But I think this one has a different type drain bolt (dont know yet, just got it last weekend and havnt had the chance to crawl underneath). The newer ones have an 8mm hex plug, not sure if this is the same.

It's a 17mm bolt. It's the first bolt from the front of the vehicle.
