Finally made a choice!

Well today I ordered the X5 50i, Black Sapphire, Black, Dark Bamboo.

Got it with Tech, Premium, Sound, Sport w/20s and a few odds and ends.

I so happy that there is no more thinking, figuring, wondering. I made the choice and just went with it. Now I just have to figure out which insurance company I wanna roll with. Six weeks seems like a long time away but I'm sure it will go real quick.

Good goin'. It sounds awesome. 6 weeks? No worries.

I've been waiting 25 days, 5 hours and 10 minutes. Only 14 more days to go I'm told. But hey - who's counting. I'm sure it'll go fast.

Trust me when I say this will be the logest weeks you ever waited, especially if you fretted over the choice as much as you indicate. I am on 7 weeks and is supposed to be in production next week and it feels like I am waiting for my first born to arrive. Well it's as expensive as that has been ( 20 yrs later).

I did an online quote and it came out to 116$ a month for the premium package. My GF that i've been with and living with for years has NJ Manufacturers which is really good but she tried to get me on her policy and they told me I have to be married or her name has to be one as the owner of the car. Is this true? I would love to just make one payment instead of two. Could I just say married? Would they check? My driving record is 100% clean and I just turned 30.

You guys are right it's prolly going to go real slow but I'm glad as it will give it time for the weather to get nicer and salt washed away. Is there anyway to check progress of the build?

Yeah, just say you are married.

That way when you total it and they find out, you'll have no coverage.

30? My 18 year old knows better.

Good for you and your 18 year old. I'm sure if I ever total my car that's the first thing there going to check for is a marriage certificate. It was simply just a question not saying that's what I'm going to do. I'm engaged just not married yet. Thank you for your words of wisdom hope your 18 yo shares the same traits...

@ XFIVEX - ARD has no filtering system. He's an internet tuff guy. Pay him no mind. He would be eaten up and spit out here in NJ!

He is correct though, never lie about being married for insurance purposes, they will find out sooner or later.

Great thought I would see a better class of people at a BMW SUV forum. This is expected at my EVO X forums, oh well doesn't bother me.

Anyways called State Farm and they quoted me just under 1400 a year. For the NJ/NY area I think that is a really good price and that's there premium package. Right now with Allstate im paying 2,460 a year for my G37s... The money I save on insurance will go towards the extra monthly payment from the 50i Anyone have any experience with State Farm? Any other suggestions?
