Front Reflectors Replacement

Anyone have instructions or advice on replacing the front reflectors? just got my painted ones and finally got my car last night. do i have to remove the fender well to get to the front bumper? this one looks tougher than my m3 as that one just popped out. this one sticks from the inside. any tips? thx.

ok figured it out. i didn't realize you can take out the two front plastics on the bumper. i used a hair dryer to help take off the old reflectors. that worked like a charm.

I'm anxiously awaiting the clear reflectors for the front for my 2011 White X5. Since the reflectors are longer than the previous year vehicles I need to wait for the '11 model clears to come out. You guys with dark colored vehicles have it easy. You can just throw on some limo tint and call it a day.

i agree. the darker colored cars are good to do the tint. on my alpine white, i like the painted ones better. although clear would've probably been ok, but i still had to remove that sucker. hair dryer is your friend.

I like the painted ones also, but just think the price is too much for a passive reflector. They do look good on there though.
