How hard is it to change the HID and fogs on the X5?

I have a 2009 X5 and looking to change out the the HID bulbs to something around 6000k or 6700k from Phillips. I hate the yellow look of the stock bulb.

How hard is it to change the HID bulbs in the X5?
I was able to change the angel eyes easily so I dunno if the HID's will be as easy.

I was also looking to convert the fogs to HID 6000k as well to match everything. How hard is it to do this or should i just replace the bulb itself?

Thanks guys!

I just read the posts and changed both my foglights and my angel eyes.
Was not too hard at all. Great pics and and no tools required except s precision flat head screw driver to remove the clips as they are plastic. Its in the diy FAQ section under x70 tips and tricks.

I did the headlights and fogs as well. Headlights took a little longer b/c the space is pretty cramped. IT took me about 30 min for the first side and 15 min for the second

Do you have a link to the DIY FAQ? I tried to look for it but didn't see it. I'm assuming you mean the clips for the two lower vents?

Is there a DIY for the headlights? They look hard to get to.

What did you guys switch your HIDs and fogs to btw?

Thanks!
