New E70 owner - need your input

Hey All -

I've owned an E53 for several years, and just upgraded to an E70 - 2008. It is Sapphire Black with Saddle Brown interior.

The decal at the dealdership said "Leatherette", but based on my research, Saddle Brown has to be a Leather interior - am I right here?

Thanks!

Leatherette comes in black and sand beige.

To the best of my knowledge, BMW only offers black and beige for leatherette, and the whole interior will be that color. The cinnamon brown on the other hand is black / brown as pictured. Saddle brown also covers the whole interior, carpets, trim, door panels. I would say this is Cinnamon.

I have the saddle brown leather in my 2010 X5 35d. Your pictures look just like mine. I also have the black lower trim and carpet. The cinnamon brown was introduced as a new color in 2011 models and saddle brown was dropped. I don't know if cinnamon brown was used in any years prior to 2010.
