Was talking to a store and they said the factory cutoff is between 100-200hz so it's in a range high enough that I could use and manipulate with the low pass filter.

Ah ok. Glad that will work for you. I haven't looked into where the pre-amp signals are generated yet.

decided to amplify all speakers and get a new speakers. anyone know the color codes?

btw, the wires given in the diy, this is AFTER the factory amp has amplified the signal correct?

That's correct. What I show is downstream of the factory amp.

i keep having java issues with it on my mac so I can't access it.. =(

I have the same diagram as you supplied but the full thing already.

O ok.. So u dont remember how u hook up your rca wire? Im tryna hook up a sub n amp to the car but i cnt figure out how u did it lol. I have the same x5
