Eh, could be....but dealers will replace pads in response to all kinds of customer complaints...not just wearing out.

Or it was a chick driver who uses two feet!

True, but if it was in for brake noise it should say so on the repair history, not just charged to the maintenance plan.

Also, front brakes went 13,800 the first time, then 13,500 the second time. Rear brakes went 19,800.

Sounds like the original owner did keep one foot on the brake pedal all the time, whether or not he was a chick.

Sounds average to me. Nothing serious on the history.

I did see a noise complaint on the brakes. Anyway, it doesn't matter if brakes were used up in 5k miles or 50k miles. It's a wear item.

The part eluding to the tranny being overworked becuase of the short pad life is not a huge concern in my book. It just means the car was driven and not babied. Agressively driven, sure; abused, probably not.

If you get it for the right price and you like the car, I would go for it.

On my service history, The brakes were replaced at 13,500 miles. It all depends on the driving style. Some people ride the brakes while going 60mph on the highway.
