What angel eye upgrade to get?

Hey,

Which angel eye bulbs do you guys recommend? I have have not see a DIY anywhere, can you direct me to one?

I went LUX v3 and have been very pleased. It's totally DIY, however, I didn't do it myself (hands were too big)! I've posted pics on this forum if you search for them.

some people have gone w/ LUX.
depends on preferences i guess........i recently posted some pics showing what i believe is the difference between the GP thunder and $100 LEDs.

I like the LEDs better, $100 is tough to get wife approval though. I changed AE on our 530i for $40.00 and they look great.

Are the angel eyes just straight H8 bulbs? Found these, looks good in the pictures....

GP 8500K H8 XENON WHITE BULBS BMW E70 E92 X5 ANGEL EYE on eBay.ca (item 120437107032 end time 10-Apr-11 08:22:11 EDT)

H8, yes, those are the same ones on the pic on the first post i showed u.
i bought both, gp and leds, i kept the led.

Just installed the GP Thunder for $20.00.....pure crap, wasted $20.00

that sucks man, didn't turn out like you hope.
i first bought the LED's and then i wanted to try the gp thunder, ended staying w/ the LEDs.
everyone has a different preference. the only thing that during regular daylight, they are not as bright as i would like it to be.
