The aero kit looks really good on AW pre-LCI.

Didn't think the Aero for the (Post) LCI was that great in the BMW photos, but after seeing it in the blue in real life pics. Think it looks really good!!

Anyone who has installed the LCI aero kit care to venture a guess as to why it cannot be installed with the hitch? Other guys have been able to successfully install the pre LCI aero kit and carefully cut out the lower valance to expose that which is necessary....any reason you could see that as not being possible with this kit?

I believe that execuhitch has one that will work with the aero package.

I considered the execuhitch, but price point doesn't make it a contender for me. Heck, I think the OEM hitch is too much. Considering I'd still want to have the OEM harness installed and have the programming done, I'd probably be somewhere in excess of $1300 depending on how bad the dealership wants to screw me. I'm used to installing my own hitches and wiring for typically less than $250...so this whole "you bought a bimmer, so bend over" mentality is going to take a bit of getting used to. For the time being, I'm not going to accept that answer and am looking into my options of customizing the LCI aero kit to accept a traditional hitch. Yes, I may still be screwed by having to have dealership do the programming, but that's a small screw job compared to the rest. Anyone who hase installed the LCI aero kit see any reason it couldn't be cut to allow for a traditional kit?
