OEM ///M footrest pedal

Hi

I've ordered a M footrest pedal recently and was just wondering whether has anyone retrofit a M footrest to their E70 X5?

If so, do you have any instructions for the installation? Does it simply just pop out?

Thanks
Leon

Dont know about the E70, but I retrofitted one to my E60. The old one is glued on. You will have to use a hair dryer or heat gun to get it off. You may melt the old pedal in the process. I am sure it is the same procedure for the E70.

Here is a picture after I removed the pedal. You can see the glue lines where it was glued on.
