B Pillar removal instructions

Just curious if anyone has instructions for the lower B-Pillar removal, the plastic piece from the seat beat down to the floor. My new CPO has scuffs/dents/stains from the previous owner and wanted to replace. Since this doesn't seem like a warranty issue but rather a personal issues to replace the damage piece from previous owner. Part is not too expensive ($30) each side. Any help will be appreciated from a former E53 and current E70 owner.

Sorry, I can't help. I had mine replaced by the dealer under warranty.

If you have vents in the rear you need to pop the cover out than the pillar should pop out with a trim removal tool.

If my dealer didn't cover the replacement, I was going to have an AV installer guy do it for me. They do it all the time. I hate doing interior work becuase I always scuff something and I know about it.....

Do I need to remove the Air vent or the bottom door sill piece to pop it off?
Thanks again for your time and help
