Great looking vehicle, even have the aerodynamic kit, but a bit high on price, even from Canadian standards. I got mine for 50k with 3 years BMW warranty and about 32k miles on it (that includes about 15% taxes and other charges).
With Pilot and GX470, there's no comparison. X is an X. However, GX470 will give you plenty space, where X is a bit tight on knees in the 3rd row seat which is rated for people as tall as 5' 6" and leaves very little trunk room. Life is good, have seen a few around doing half a million kms. So I am expecting it would do anywhere between 300-500k. But if problems arises, then God bless ya!

OP: according to KBB (not the standard but a decent starting point) somewhere around $40K is about right for an '08 3.0.
