Wheel question?

Does anyone know if style 300 off a 2011 X6M will fit on a 2009 X5 35d?

Looks like the offsets are close enough.

Stock 20 on the e70 Et 40 10" and Et 37 11"
Style 300 are Et 40 10" and Et 35 11"

Eeeeeek!! dont forget the hub sizes are different on the rear axle of X6, X6M and X5M due to adaptive drive wotsits.
SO any X6/M or X5M rear wheel wont fit the std X5 rear hubs as the wheel will be 72.6mm centre bore and the hub 74mm , slightly more than an interference fit....
Spacers to resolve this may or maynot be available from H&R but this starts to play with offset and may stick the wide X6M rear rims outside of the wheel arch?

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than me will confirm, but I believe the hub size on the x6 is slightly smaller than the x5 so you would have to bore our the hub.

From noodling around in the Search Tab, it appears that the X6 wheel hub bore sizes are different from the E70, in rear:

X5 E70 center bore is 74mm on all wheels.

The X6 front wheel center bore is 74mm but rear wheel is 72.5mm(which is E53 X5 bore size), and thus, would need to be machined to the 74 mm size, to fit the E70, imo.

To make the situ more confusing, there is another post in the thread I ref'd suggesting that the X6 front hub is smaller...

Take a read of the pasted thread, and proceed carefully, or measure the X6 wheel hubs, if possible.

There are actually good quality 300M (x6M OEM wheels) replicas out there that are standard x5 OEM fit. I picked up a pair for my winter set last year and loved them. Italian made. If you search you can see my pics - PM me if you want the info from where I purchased them.

thanks for all the replies. So it looks like I can either bore out the rears to fit the e70 or buy spacers. Still not sure if I want to go either this route but if I do go with the wheels I will let everyone know how it turns out.
