Hi! Any update on ths issue? I also have a whistling (or ringing) while accelerating at 2500 rpm. It only whistles and rings while running / moving and NOT while revving it on a stationary position.

Awww! Sorry to hear that. Hope you don't mind answering a few more inqs - Was your whistling happen on revving up to a certain RPM or when increasing speed?

Thanks for that. Mine only whistles when you pick up speed and disappears when 60kph is achieved. Maybe mine is another issue. I hope it's not the tranny

Problem solved! There was a disconnected air hose that is connected to a black ribbed cylindrical plastic thing on the left front side of the engine compartment. I don't know what that tube is for but when I re-connected it, the whistling was gone.
