Do the math on dedicated winter set-up: Start your search early and you'll find a decent set pre-owned for 1/2 the cost of new -- and you'd be able to recoup some of that down the road. That's exactly what I did on my X6. Or, buy a brand new winter package from Tire-rack or go OEM. I made a great deal on 18" package from my parts guy @ BMW this past winter. You'll probably be able to sell them for 50% of your cost down the road. As MRV99 also pointed-out earlier, it also means you will have put less miles on your RFT's at lease end and can probably turn it in with original rubber. Oh and one more thing...If you go dedicated winter set-up you can go 20" Style 214's or 21" in the summer...They happen to look pretty damned good
