Just changed button 6 from Nav Home to Activate Plug-In. Can use voice commands "home address" "start guidance" to nav home, but activating the plug-in device always takes several steps. My last 3 buttons are now Pandora, Presets (gets to my frequently-used Sirius, FM and Weather channels that way), and Activate Plug-In.

If I had diesel, I would use the nav to closest diesel station...that's a great idea.

How do you program, navigate home? I select it from the address book, initiate the navigation to take me home, then press the #6 button for a few seconds and it just programs it to the map scale setting, not to navigate home.

Don't initiate the actual navigation. Just move the selection to your home address, and then press and hold the button.

Great thread...

Personally, I think 6 buttons ain't enough. I have:

1. Wife cell
2. Toggle Map Full Screen
3. Nav day / nite
4. Show entertainment details
5. Nav home
6. Show arrow display
