Does anyone know the number for BMW's headquarters.

My X5s rear seats are rattling and my driver seat and door are creaking. The car has only 900 miles on it. The moonroof motor is rattling and the seat for the front passenger is loose?!!! How do I explain this to the factory?

1. They have zero interest in hearing this from you.

2. Their quality system will track field events and repairs, and that is how they will use your situation to effect changes and improvements.

3. There is no person that will say "Mr. Shant, thank you for letting us know- we are horrified that you've had to endure this and we will instruct our nearest dealer to quickly roll out the red carpet".

4. You will reach telephone operators who are instructed to make you go away and minimize BMW's corporate 'exposure'. They will never commit to anything in writing.

5. All your paths to get this resolved will go through the dealer. Any dealer. BMWUSA will say 'take it to a dealer, they do all our work'..... followed by 'unless one of our dealers looks at it we cannot help you'...then 'we rely on our dealers as the experts, and if they say they cannot replicate the faults you are complaining about, there is nothing we can do'.... you get the idea.

While I am sure you think you can escalate this to achieve quick resolution, sadly there is no path to do so.

But in case you want to try, call 800-831-1117

No, couldn't see my self spending that much for something I really couldn't tell the differance; I had it on my last one. I got just about everything else I could get though; no HUD either since I normally wear polorized shades.

Same here with the seats, 400 miles going back again tomorrow to the stealership. I have all confidence in the world that THIS time will be magical and they will fix it!
