2009 NAV disc not reading (again)

So, I had the all too common DVD NAV disc read error on my 2009 X5d at 7k mi. They replaced it with a new reader unit and it worked fine. This week, at 27k mi, it is failing to read the disc again, so I have no NAV again.....

I ejected the disc, and it is perfectly clean, so doesn't appear to be a dirty/dusty disc. I am wondering if when my reader failed at 7k, they replaced it with another "faulty" one since it seemed to be one of the first ones with that problem.....I made appointment to bring it back for another replacement unit....Hopefully, they'll replace it with an "updated" one so I don't keep having this happen to me, especially after warranty expires.........
