hi tmling

I have exactly the same issue as you and havent found out what bulb type they are. If you goto the realoem.com website and put in your car details you will see the bulb for the angel eyes sits (section 6 with the letter A surrounding it) behind a rectangular box inbetween the main and high beams - its held in with three screws. It describes it as "Parts set parking-light bulb, halogen" buts all the info it gives..argh!!

here is the link
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=FF02&mospid=50541&btnr=63_0992& hg=63&fg=05

I havent attempted to open up the box yet as it looks almost as if the whole head light has to come out to open it. I suspect it is one of these bulbs

Buy BMW X5 E70 2007 LED SMD Bulbs | PPCGB

the T10 type (third one down) but I can be sure until I open up the box - plus I dont know if you will get error codes on the computer

At the moment it seems like an awful lot of work and I havent got time to do it.

I would highly recommend buying HIDs for the dipped beam which are H7, you can get focus adjustment ones from car-mod-shop.com - I am very pleased with these and are apparently better than factory xenons.

If you open up that box I'd love to know how you got on..

We have not had any issues with either type of headlights on the X5 when our Racing Dash LEDs (found HERE) are used in the angel eyes. They are plug and play with no bulb out issues. I also noted questions about license plate lights. Both our Racing Dash and Ziza LED conversions (found HERE) have received tons of positive feed back and zero complaints about bulb out errors.

The bulbs you link to are H8 type bulbs, and not the bulbs in discussion here - these are the bulbs specifically for the E70 Halogen headlights, I repeat, not the xenons (which have the H8s) - it is unclear what these bulbs are and realoem doesnt give us any clues - have you had any customers with the same issue? if so do you know what type of bulb it is?

Yesterday i have changed the H11 to LED and the dashboard gave error so i bought a 50 watt widerstand thats to let the car think it has a 50watt H11 so not thats working well

for now i have changed
licence plate to LED === NO PROBLEMS OR ERROR
H7========== very often once in a week one light does not turn on
so bought 1 other brand when i have time i have to install that.

H11========= after installing the 50 watt widerstand work OK

2 things to be changed H1 for high beam i already bought this one and will install it i think this week

and i need to buy the T10 as like what you said but i dont have the time to take the headlight out so who can be the first one to do it?
i think the T10 is same as the W5W and these with CANBUS shouldnt give any error
LED Standlicht XENON BMW X5 E70 W5W | eBay
For all other lights people can ask me ..........
