I have 9.5x20 (ET 45) style 87 on all 4's (not the staggered 10.5x20 set). For a slightly taller/better ride, I mounted 275/45R20's on all four wheels, instead of the stock 275/40R20. Also installed the fender flare kit.

I'm currently eyeing two sets of wheels at the moment... one set is from an X6 and the other is from an X5M. Both are the 20' staggered (10' & 11' wide) wheels set.
Do both set need to be bored out to fit my 2008 E70 3.0d?

From what I've read the rear wheels will need to be bored out (the rims themselves). Otherwise the fronts will fit fine. It's why I'm on the fence about going non-staggered all around so I don't have to deal with that process.

CORRECTION: YOU CANNOT USE these H&R Trak+ Hub Adapters rather than having the rears bored out. Note that you will need TPMS monitors from before 10/1010 for your car too. I've just purchased a used set. Last edited by brian5; 04-20-2012 at 01:27 PM. |

Well I bought the staggered set...so my adventure begins. I'm leaning towards the Bridgestone HP Dueler Sport in non RFT. What I had on my 2004.

The install is complete! I went with Bridgestone Dueler HP's. It took me some time to track down a shop here in Boise to bore the rear hubs out but finally found it and for only $75. I also installed the arch extensions and the mud flaps to fit. (anyone need some standard arch covers or mud flaps?)
There is a HUGE difference in how the car handles and I've only driven for several miles from the tire store to work. Can't wait to get it out more. This isn't the greatest picture and I need to wash my car but couldn't wait to post it.

Bridgestone's are a nice tire. I should also mention that I got my TPMS sensors off of eBay for $190. They worked perfectly with no issues.

Not the greatest picture, but I went into work on a Saturday and looked back and it looked so nice with the new wheels.
