Latest Software Version for 2011 X5

Is there a spot on this website to see what the latest software version is for a 2011 X5 and is it possible to obtain the updates?

Vehicle software is specific by serial number, and usually upgraded only to address a specific problem that your vehicle may not have due to specific installed options and geographic region. Not like Windows Update.

Then there is Navigation software, which is upgradable.

Interested to know also. With my previous M3, there were several software upgrades to the Nav system, but more importantly to the SMG system. I'd like to keep the X5 updated also. Anyone?

would be nice, but you can understand why BMW doesn't want you and everybody else taking up 8 hours of their day with a program update when nothing is officially wrong. Maybe they should work on why it takes a full day to do it though...
