I made this comment to the Service guy this morning and he said it was quite comment for the enhanced battery drain warning to come up after 15 minutes of the doors being open. bleh.

I mean seriously, how can BMW even think this is normal, or acceptable?

My dealer told me when detailing (wash/waxing the car), to not leave the door(s) open, and to vacuum the car as quickly as possible...since leaving the doors open will cause the battery to drain & result in an error/warning message.

Insane!!!!

It really surprises me the extent to which people paint "BMW" with one brush....

Surely what some moron Client Advisor makes up based on his high school education should not be construed to be "BMW" advice.

Once you hear this from PUMA, or from a BMW regional rep, then yes, you can get angry.

Finally, I agree that BMW takes some blame for their failure to manage dealers and allowing dealers to be idiots.
