Road trip across Canada & USA?

Has anyone taken a trip from either coast to the other coast going in one country and then coming back in the other country?

Would love to do that in the 35i and crank it up to 150 in the Canadian wilderness but was afraid it will take too long with scenic stops and such..... 2 weeks? 3 weeks?

Too vague of a wonderment, imo...
Yes, lots of places to haul azz.

Will post our trip, in late July, when done.
Very doable, but if you want to really 'see stuff' and drive some
remarkable roads, it is very time consuming.
We know.

If you plan to go, go, go, and only stop for an hour at a time at interesting places along the way, then there is not much need for more time than that.

But if you also want to get a feel for any decent sized cities, I would add a day and a half per town.

Theres a thread somewhere on m5board about a trip similar to this. I think it's under notable threads. Sorry I'm on my iPhone, otherwise I'd post the thread. The guy did it in his Imola e39 M5. Looked fun!
