Just meant that a MB, these days with advancements made by Honda/Toyota, is nothing more than a name upgrade for a Honda since it drives more or less the same. They hand me the keys to a MB GLK for 30 minutes and I am not feeling any superiority. I don't know if driving stability at 80mph feels different in either anymore, or the quiet/comfort either. I know about their Acura/Lexus associations and that's just fine too. Have you been in a Camry recently? It can easily be mistaken for Lexus quality. What really sets it apart? Ho-hum daily drivers which are fine for many people.

I love the RR SC, but am scared of the reliability rumors. Also, if you are looking at the GL550 and others, what about a Cayenne? The Turbo is a little expensive, but the Cayenne S is very quick and falls into your price range. No 3rd row option, though.
The new Cayenne looks tiny, cheap and Korean to me. I really liked the past model, but the new Cayenne (regardless of engine or price) would not even be a consideration for me.

Hands down our 2011 Range Rover is the most amazing SUV we've ever owned. Going on 7/7.5 months of ownership and flawless. Every aspect of the car and ownership has been amazing!

The RR comment is interesting! I quickly scratched it off the list and put the X5M at the top....I'll have to seriously look at the Full-Sized RR.
