Do I think the X5 looks better than my GL? YES!! The GL does drive really well, and it feels like an S-Class inside. 7000lbs of steel, leather and wood. You could hear a pin drop inside. Also for hot weather, the UV glass is amazing, and I love the cooled seats and rear DVDs for my son.

Sorry, not bored as in with performance, but bored as in "I need a new car after 1 year because I'm not happy." Like I said, to each their own, but for me, I'd put up with a few rattles rather than take the loss monetarilly.
