Airflow from side vents in 2011 X5 35d
Please point me to the page in the RFTM where this is mentioned or just tell me how to do it. I feel cold on the right side and hot on the left side Thanks. |

In your iDrive settings for ventilation, you should be able to change the airflow "temperature" just like those knobs with the blue and red that are on older BMW's. My 05 X5 had it but my 07 X5 has it in the iDrive settings.

can't find it. There is no iDrive in 2011...it's the combox but the same stuf. Can you tell me exactly where it is. I can't see it under the climate settings.

WRONG! Do you have the big round turning thing next to your gear knob thing? That's the iDrive!

When i go to the truck later, to go to work, I'll take a quick vid and post it here. Then again, I have an 07 so it will be different, I'd imagine.

The 2007-2009 E70s had many more (albiet useless and frustrating) climate control "options" in the i-Drive menu. Compared to my '07 and '08...my '11 did not have as many Climate options. The HVAC in my '11 though was MUCH better than in my previous E70s!

That freaking sucks...what's the logic of side vents not blowing enough air.

Anyone? Is this standard or an issue?
