Continental SCR both front tyre defect

My 10,000KM 10 months old 2 front continental SCR run flat tyres appear with lots of hole, chip/bits came off and crack around the edge of the tyres tread. I ask my dealer service advisor this morning when I sent my car for a warranty repair; they told me this is a common issue for continental tyres on front wheels. He suggests me to change my tyres to Michelin or Bridgestone for a better quality product.
Its doesn't seem right to me that I should change the tyres with my own cost due to the product common problem. I have called Continental Australia, they said they will arrange a local authorize tyres shop to contact me to have a look on the issue.
Does anyone have a similar issue or success claim from Continental ?
Thanks.

That warranty policy is only for North America, and specifically excludes OE tires as it only applies to replacement tires.

OP: see what the Continental rep says.

OP- read the warranty that came with your car.

Should be a CD/DVD with multiple tire warranties, look up the Continental text...

It is important to understand YOUR rights BEFORE you speak to someone...you want to TELL them what they need to do, not ASK them what they might be willing to do.
