Bluetooth Streaming Audio Issue

Hi everyone. My iPhone4 pairs up perfectly fine with the bluetooth in my X5 but I cannot get the Audio Streaming portion to work. Any suggestions?

If the mobile phone is connected to the vehicle via USB cable, there is then no support for the playing of audio files via the Bluetooth connection.

The phone is not connected via USB. Maybe it's because I have a USB stick inserted... I'll try that!

I discovered this over the weekend, SO ANNOYING!!!

I figured out the problem. You actually have to link the phone TWICE. Once from within the telephone section of iDrive and once within the audio section of iDrive. You select the same BMW***** identity listed in on the phone but the second time it links audio. Works perfect now. MAN is it awesome!!!

When did this start as an option? Assuming my 07 does not have this, on my iPad and can't get to my .pdf owners manual.
