Marwan1 is on a distinguished road
OP, if it makes you feel better, you have NOT broken MY record!

Trip from Little Rock to Houston last year (just three months after taking delivery of my then new X5): One chip (very small, but big enough to upset me given that the car was new). The worst, however, was yet to come, as on my way back to Little Rock a few days later I got not one, but TWO chips literally within a few minutes (must have been no more than 10 minutes apart)! Needless to say, I was fuming. Three chips already on a new car! However, all were really small and on the passenger side so with time I learned to not notice them anymore. Well, llittle did I know that the worst was yet to come. On another trip to Houston few months ago, something hit my windshield so hard it made me jump, and left a crater in my windshield worthy of Vesuvius! The guys at the glass shop did their best but the damage can still be seen from feet away.

Well, this is a leased car and now I know there's no way whoever inspects the car when I return it at lease end will not notice the windshield damage (which was plausible with the initial three chips) and I will have to pay for it!

I know, I should stop driving to Houston! Well, tell that to my wife...
