I have the seat heating settings on my 2012 X5 35d. They are under the "Climate" menu.

Do you have NAV? I wonder what options package adds this? I don't have NAV and have the smaller screen - which stinks in itself.

Yes, I have Nav. It was free on the 2012 due to the credit.

I thought that was addressed...under climate..I had nav and cold weather.

I liked that setting a lot, prefer the seat cool/back warm

From the beginning, near as I remember.... it was 9k miles before it saw it's first programming and my recollection is that we set this in the first few days of ownership...

Very, very strange... so "Menu" button, then "Settings" then "Climate"...nothing?

Driver ventilation
Front passenger ventilation
Rear climate
Activate parked-car ventilation
Timer 1
Timer 2
