A little late to the dance my friends but I figure I would share my experience.

I made the mistake of putting aftermarket H8 bulbs that were rated for 80W instead if the stock 35W. Well, they worked for 10 minutes before the computer sensed that there was far to much juice going to the DRLs and shut the circuit down. I put my tail between my legs and took it to my local dealer. They re-enable it and all is well, except that my carelessness cost me $130 in labor.

I just installed Weisslicht LEDs ($150) and couldn't be happier. They look awesome. If I hadn't been so cheap to start, i could have saved myself a lot of money and aggravation.

It can be coded with NCSExpert.All lighting futures can be customised by coding the Footwell Module(FRM),including "welcome" lights,DRL,corner lights ON with low beam,etc.
