Why is there no cup holder in the second row in an 09? Did the 2010 or 11 have them?

my 09 has them - you fold down the center armrest and then flip open the cup holder from the top/front

To be fair, they're easy to miss. They're in the same location in the X3 and although I knew we had them, I completely forgot about them. We often drive with two of our friends in the rear (they live nearby) and after two years of them balancing their drinks on their laps I only remembered we had drinks holders and a centre armrest in the rear a few weeks ago. :-S

If you have the RFs and dont have a spare tire...... do you remember that there's a shit load of extra storage space underneath the board that lifts up in the trunk area? Went to camping fully loaded only to find out when I came back to vacuum did I remember this!

I keep my portable air pump in there. Came in handy once, when I got a nail in the RFT, I filled up the tire and took it to the tire shop. Occassionally I keep stuff in there, it's not much of a space though, I would have imagined there will be lots more, but I have the 3rd row so maybe ones without have more space.

I have to laugh at this whole thread. Even though i'm an E53 owner I went straight out to the garage wondering where my rear cup holder was, after 6 months of ownership lol

Found em.... push button pop outs from the center console.

Although not a single person has rode in the backseat since i've had it, i'm glad I know!

stupid questions lead me to find out stupid things that stupid me didn't know abuot ! Thanks
