50mm or 1.96 inches. I have used it with several trailers with 2 inch couplers with no issues.

Hi, been trying to get some info about the Execuhitch but website isn't working.
Does anyone know what the towing capacities & towball weight are on these euro style towbars. I tow a Malibu Wakesetter VLX.

Hi Clubby,
I called Execuhitch for you as they are local here in Atlanta. They moved the web site to another server and are having issues. Should be working in the next couple of days.

They did confirm that for X5 it is a Class III hitch, 6000 lbs tow weight and 600 lbs tongue weight.

Thank you so much, this seems to be the ideal bar for me.
I just hope they can put me onto an installer here in Sydney Australia.

No problem. Judging from what they told me about the installation cost, it doesn't appear to be very difficult, I am sure a local hitch place can put it in for you. They quoted me $190 (USD) to put in the hitch, sounds like a 1.5 hour work.
