What size is the hitch ball? Is it 2"?

50mm or 1.96 inches. I have used it with several trailers with 2 inch couplers with no issues.

No problem. Judging from what they told me about the installation cost, it doesn't appear to be very difficult, I am sure a local hitch place can put it in for you. They quoted me $190 (USD) to put in the hitch, sounds like a 1.5 hour work.
