You do. You also have a option of selecting traffic flow ... In which case you get little arrows where there might be a backup and a selection of icons on the screen.

In 2012 and probably earlier you can also view traffic issues as a list. Selecting each one will highlight a smaller map on the right hand pane.

I believe he is referring to the red, yellow, green status lines of some traffic monitoring systems. My '11 doesn't do that.

OK, then yes, I get those colors on the roads (in some cases). My CIC is a 2012 unit. I think I have to turn off Traffic flow though, otherwise I just get arrows instead.
