Here is the catalog with ordering codes. Have your CA place your selections on the order sheet and submit to BMW.

Yes, I've seen that. Order option S752A.

Of course they don't see it in their computer and don't know what to do next. Dealer and manager said they've never done any special orders, don't know where to start.

(Sub-text is, crazy good price- they don't want to work so hard for the deal... so I want to make it easy.)

Is there a manual process? Do they configure a car, then using that allocatioon contact XYZ department with a special request? To whom is this "order sheet" submitted?

Doc, you are in germany- so your advice may not apply here in the US....

Thanks!

I am military in Germany, my vehicles go through US military sales, which are all US spec. My options and vehicles are what is available in the US only.

OK, good. So to whom does one submit the special orders if they are not 'codeable' in the computer!?

docpowell,

I have just ordered an X5 35D from Pentagon as well, should get week 49-50. Who was you're salesman? My salesman was Mathias.

I am looking for optioin 220 (air leveling suspension) however, I do NOT want 3rd row seating. I am also looking for the towing package (don't have code right now). Have you actually been able to special order an option not listed in the packages as listed by Pentagon?

Check with Jess Kreider of Otto's BMW West Chester, PA. 610-399-6800. They took care of the ordering of my Individual M5.

If you are military and have USAA you can go through the USAA car buying service. I custom ordered my X5 35d and paid 700 over invoice. Navy federal credit union also offers the service. I am surprised that AAFES car buying service doesn't know how to do it...

Don't do it...you'll be married to it then. J/k have fun and show us the individual options when you're done.
