lol, yeah who writes these articles? seem to have no technical knowledge. all that the regenerative braking means is that alternator only runs when you're off the throttle or on the brakes to reduce parasitic drivetrain losses and improve fuel efficiency.

What is all the surprise? It does have brake energy regeneration. The regeneration just isn't contained within the braking system. The writer was just pleased that it didn't affect the brake pedal feel. The article wasn't written for technicians.
