Spanky Deluxe is on a distinguished road
Woo! My first X5!

Our approved used 2008 3.0d SE got delivered today!

It's got just under 60k miles on the clock, impeccable service history, one owner (customer of the dealership for ~20 years) and is loaded with goodies.

I spent a long time shopping around for just the right car at just the right price - wanting seven seats and a sunroof limited the number of cars on the market at any given time so when this one came on that ticked all the boxes, I moved fast.

The full spec is:

Model FF42 E70 X5 xDrive30d SE M57 3.0
Colour A35 Monaco Blue Metallic
Upholstery LUAD Grey Nevada leather
Option 3AG Reversing Assist Camera
Option 328 Running boards. aluminium
Option 4NA Rear-view mirror with digital compass
Option 4NB Air conditioning. automatic with four-zo
Option 4UB Third Row Seating
Option 402 Panoramic glass sunroof
Option 430 Ext. mirrors - folding. auto dimming
Option 459 Elec Fr Seats + Driver Memory
Option 488 Lumbar support. driver and front pass.
Option 494 Seat heating. front
Option 522 Xenon headlights
Option 524 Adaptive Headlights
Option 601 TV function
Option 610 Head-up Display
Option 677 Loudspeaker system - BMW Professional
Option 761 Sun protection glass
Package ZXT Media package
Package 330 Dynamic package
Pack Alt 2LE Y Spoke Style 214 10/11Jx20

I really wanted the sunroof, third row seats, front heated seats, 20s and rear climate so I'm pretty happy. We often go places with some good friends who live in the same village as us, hence why I wanted the rear climate - they also loved the sunroof in our X3 before. We'll hardly ever use the third row seats but it's an option we wanted to have for the future and I imagine those few times when they're of use, they'll be invaluable

The previous owner also added in headrest screens and iPod/USB connectivity and there's even a PS2 in the boot. I didn't even know about this stuff until I saw the car in person so it's a nice little bonus. I wasn't looking for rear view entertainment.

I also got them to extend the standard 1 year warranty for BMW Approved Used to 2 years. Alas, we're not spoilt with the same warranties as you US folk get!

They're sending me a new rear boot BMW emblem because the existing one's got some chips on. It's also getting a new piece of trim for the front passenger glovebox because it won't open. It's on back order at the moment.

It's dark and raining outside so I can't take any photos myself right now but here are the dealer supplied ones:
